2025 Deaf Awareness at the Lookouts

Join us for a day of awareness, education, and community as we celebrate Deaf Awareness Day at the Lookouts! This event aims to highlight the culture, achievements, and needs of the Deaf, Deaf-Blind & Hard of Hearing community.

Bring canned goods to the Lookout game for Deaf Awareness Day and receive free general admission to help stock the Partnership Deaf Services pantry!

Postgame Activities:
Kids will have the opportunity to run the bases and catch on the field after the game!

Sonibert Wood is a proud Hard of Hearing actress and performer. Originally born in Puerto Rico and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, she has called Chattanooga home since 2004. Sonibert has been active in the local theater scene, performing in numerous stage productions, and recently appeared in the film JESUS by Deaf Mission Films. She carries a deep love for the performing arts and is passionate about representing and uplifting the Deaf community.
